黃大旺的新作《台北聲音一日遊》是採集了他從2016-2022年在台北市街頭巷弄，不同時間與不同地點的聲音素材，透過聲音產生聽者自己的敘事，因為聲音是隨機剪輯配置，所以每個人都可以在聲音碎片的線索裡拼湊出不同的故事，尋找遺失的片段和記憶中的曾經。
Dawang Huang's artwork “One Day Trip in Taipei” is a collection of his sound material from 2016 to 2022 in the streets and alleys of Taipei City, at different times and in different places. The listener's own narrative is generated through the sound, because the sound is randomly edited and configured, so everyone can piece together a different story from the clues of the sound fragments.
在這段長40分整的聲音剪輯之中，收錄的素材並不限於單一定點，也不是單純地把聲音片段湊在一起。在不同時期採集的聲音片段，可能重疊交錯出現；在修剪成作品長度的時候，除了把原始檔案修剪成片段，並且調整音量外，聲音定位不予調整，也不附加類似破音、殘響等數位效果。這些聲音片段的組合可以視為隨機配置，沒有因應故事起承轉合的變化，甚至也沒有時間上的相對關係。如果聽者在這些聲音的組合裡感受到線索，並從線索中拼湊出情節，在轉述他人的過程當中，就有可能演變成與個別採集片段完全無關的故事。
The content in this 40-minute sound clip is not isolated to any one location or composed only of other sound samples. The audio clips gathered in different periods of time may overlap and interlace.
When I edited my sound clip, I also changed the volume and divided the original file into clips. The localisation of the sound won't be changed, and not to replicate broken sound, reverb, etc. These sound clips were put together in what can be considered a random order. There is neither a reaction to the story nor even a temporal relationship. If the listener senes the clues in the combination of these sounds and put together the plot from the clues. It may change into a story that is entirely unrelated to the individual collected clips as it is told to other people.
